Acceptable stay, but with some drawbacks

The hotel is in a convenient location close to many restaurants.
The room was quite small and lacked natural light. Paper blinds did little to block light from outside (this really bothered me). I also found it disappointing that the hotel does not clean your room daily without an extra fee.

The staff are very nice and the location is good.
The rooms are very small even by Japanese standards I found it hard to open my suitcase and there was nowhere to unpack my clothes One of us lost a room key card and a replacement cost 1000 yen.

excellent stay

the room featured a separate wet and dry bathroom area. A lounge area provided a comfortable space to relax. The reception staff was very courteous. The location near Karasuma station provided easy access to transportation. Umbrellas were available to borrow from reception during rainy days. Daily water and coffee sachets were a thoughtful touch. Full housekeeping service upon request worked very well.
i found that the paper blinds in the windows did not effectively block outside light. they created a slight echo in the room when i spoke. it was a minor inconvenience but noticeable.

The common spaces provided a relaxing environment , including amenities such as complimentary coffee and tea in the lounge bar during the day. It provided convenience. A quick internet service facilitated easy access to information and communication .

The staff was helpful enough, I guess.
The room cleaning policy is quite strange. They only clean every few days unless you pay extra, which seemed like a sneaky way to save money. the breakfast was not great. I found only a few options I could tolerate.
